The number of import injunctions on goods to japan infringing intellectual property rights was 26,034 in 2016, exceeding 20,000 for 10 consecutive years.

About 90% of these cases were related to import from China.

The number of import injunctions on goods infringing trademark rights accounts for 98% or more of the total, and the number of goods infringing trademark rights accounts for 65% or more of the total. This trend is the same as before.

By the way, the number of export injunctions on goods from japan infringing intellectual property right was 11,659 in 2016.
